Art Week Tokyo is an annual showcase of the creativity and diversity of contemporary art in Tokyo. Seeking to stimulate the growth of Tokyo’s art ecosystem, the 2024 event connects 53 of the city’s leading museums, galleries, and art spaces through four days of coordinated programming and special platforms. The free AWT Bus service links all venues, making it easier than ever to explore one of the world’s most dynamic art scenes along with all the culture that Tokyo has to offer.

The hop-on, hop-off AWT Bus service links all Art Week Tokyo venues across multiple routes. Buses run every 15 minutes from 10am to 6pm and can be boarded at any stop.

The AWT Talks program encompasses a symposium, a closed-door curators’ roundtable, and an online talks series. This year’s symposium, “Imagining Others: Transnational Visions of Contemporary Art,” taking place on November 7, is headlined by Susanne Pfeffer, director of Museum MMK für Moderne Kunst, Frankfurt.
